Thought you might be interested in a story that was just posted in the Casual Games Association’s new “Casual Connect” magazine … with four resolutions to boost your game company’s e-marketing success! (You can download the entire 5-MB magazine here)

“You know what’s a real shame? When you have an important message for your clients and prospects, you’ve got a great database to enable you to reach out to them … but no one opens the e-mail you send them.”

Meanwhile, you can still read the story on about a new way to buy virtual items — with virtual IOUs! (Be sure to check out the 19-comment debate going on at the bottom of the page … and feel free to add your own comments!)

Kwedit’s goal is to solve what it says is the number one problem for publishers in the free-to-play space – the fact that the vast majority of gamers, perhaps 98% of them, never spend a penny on the virtual items offered to them.

And you can still read about some TV networks that have begun publishing “original” games that don’t repurpose their programs … and what’s motivating them. Check it out here.

“We would love to get the word out that we want to hear from more developers, especially those who are passionate about some personal project. If they have something to pitch, we would like to know about it.”
