When it came time for the B2B software company, Nastel Technologies, to facelift their website design and provide intuitive navigation, they also required the ability to manage content on their own. This project had a short timeframe and tight budget, so OpenMoves implemented an open source content management system, JOOMLA!
With a variety of templates from which to choose, interactive Web 2.0 plugins and a large development community, JOOMLA! provides an inexpensive alternative to a more traditional custom-designed web site. Once Nastel selected their template, the OpenMoves development team began to customize colors, design and branding elements and upload content. With these in place and the final changes approved, we trained Nastel how to move forward on their own. A fresh site with state-of-the-art drop down navigation, contact form-generated email, dynamic design and a login portal was completed on-time and on-budget!
If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to build an open source data-driven web site, JOOMLA! can quickly make it happen. A few words of caution: although open source, developing this content management system requires advanced knowledge of cascading style sheets, PHP and HTML. And once your site it live, some HTML knowledge is required. Please Share:
