The Benefits of Being an “OpenMover”.

Work-Life Harmony

Working remotely has been part of our DNA since our start in 2000. Whether digital nomads or New York locals, our full-time, part-time, and contract team members operate more efficiently without an office to report to, leaving more time for friends, family, and the things they love (outside of work).

Set Your Own Schedule

We thrive on flexible schedules. Potentially our team members can work any hours they like — as long as they fulfill their responsibilities, make themselves available for clients and colleagues, and get the job done.

Health Coverage

Affordable healthcare accessible via smartphones and devices? Yes, that’s part of the package for full-time employees. Our plan offers comprehensive coverage, including health, vision, and dental benefits.

Continue Your Education

We think that active learning keeps you razor-sharp, forges new connections, and lays the foundation for career growth. That’s why we have a budget earmarked for online courses and live events and conferences.

Wellness Perks

When you feel good, our team performs better! It’s a win-win all-around. We even help you maximize your free time with wellness perks including a monthly allowance for gym memberships and bike-share programs (for full-timers).

Mental Health Benefits

Your state of mind is just as important as your physical state. That’s why our company’s extensive healthcare plan includes online mental health therapy and healthcare support for you and your loved ones. (for full-timers)

Questions about joining OpenMoves?

Learn more about our interview process by reading our frequently asked questions.

How do I apply for a role at OpenMoves?

Please see our open job listings above. Don’t see a role that syncs with your experience but feel that you’d be an asset to the team? Just send your resume, cover letter, and work samples or contact us here

Does OpenMoves offer full-time, contract or part-time positions?

Yes, we offer all of the above. We strongly believe in work-life balance and are open to developing an opportunity that fits your lifestyle, schedule, and work experience. Let’s talk!

Does OpenMoves have physical offices?

Sort of. We’ve been a virtual outfit since 2000, so team members have free rein to work from wherever they like — including our Huntington, Long Island space

Am I required to work 9am - 5pm, 5 week days?

While we applaud flexibility, we also have real-world commitments. And even though we’re spread out across North America, and even overseas, we pretty much work EST time zone hours. So, yes, by all means, jet to that 10 AM spin class — but check with clients and team members first!

What’s the culture like in a remote agency?

Communication has always been the key to our success; ditto get-togethers, both virtual and physical. We’ve bonded at virtual wine tastings, comedy nights, educational events, even happy hours. And we’re planning to reinstate our biannual summer and winter holiday parties. Stay tuned for your invite!

How does the interview process work?

Just reach out with a great cover letter, resume, and work samples (if applicable). Most candidates have two to three interviews. If you’re applying to be an analyst, strategist, or specialist in paid media, SEO, email marketing, or CRO, we may ask you to do a test audit. If you’re on the creative side, the ask might be a small design project. It’s an opportunity for all parties to see how we work together.
