About OpenMoves OpenMoves is a performance-driven digital marketing agency focused on delivering measurable results through Paid Media, SEO, CRO, Creative Services and Marketing Automation. As part of the Ionik agency network (alongside our sister agency, Q1Media), we’re on a mission to deliver innovative, ROI-driven media strategies for clients across North America and the globe. About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on, performance-driven Team Lead for Paid Media to join our fast-growing team. You’ll lead 2–3 media professionals while managing client strategy, campaign performance, retention, and growth. This is a strategic, client-facing role where you’ll split your time between guiding the team, leading high-impact campaigns, and working directly on-platform (Google, Meta, LinkedIn).
What You’ll Do
Lead & Inspire
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of Paid Media specialists
- Review campaign strategies, jumping in to support as needed
- Manage team workload, resource planning, and quality standards
- Conduct performance reviews and guide individual development plans
Drive Strategy & Results
- Own key client accounts from strategy to execution
- Develop audience targeting, creative testing, and budget strategy
- Deliver on performance KPIs and identify growth opportunities
- Identify growth opportunities and support upsell initiatives
- Lead client presentations and quarterly business reviews
Execute with Precision
- Manage accounts hands-on—bidding, testing, and optimizing
- Stay ahead of platform trends and best practices
- Turn insights into action with clear, data-driven reporting
Agency Support
- Collaborate on hiring, training, and SOPs
- Work cross-functionally with SEO, CRO, Creative, and Email teams
- Partner with the VP on strategic initiatives like AI and process innovation
What You Bring
- 5+ years of Paid Media experience (Google, Meta, LinkedIn required)
- 2+ years leading or mentoring a team
- Firm grasp of analytics, attribution, and marketing tech (GA4, GTM, Looker Studio)
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders
- Bonus: background in CRO, SEO, or creative strategy
- Prior agency experience strongly preferred
